I'm Erik Gustav, aka Ikeatech! Thanks for checking us out. Based in Medina county OH. I've been designing and installing IKEA kitchens for over 20 years, getting my start with IKEA in Pittsburgh. Prior to that I worked for years as a cabinet maker and countertop fabricator after moving up from Newport KY many years ago. My daughter, Karalina, pictured above, assists part time, using her background in commercial real estate in designing and planning for commercial projects. As I specialize in IKEA I often travel for my work, with projects as far away as Boston, Philadelphia, Burbank/Los Angeles and Chicago, in addition to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Lexington/Louisville, WV, NJ and beyond.
IKEA is a great product! Door and drawer hardware is provided by BLUM of Germany, every door and drawer is soft close. Sides and bottoms are 3/4" thick stock with a heavy melamine finish. I can modify certain pieces as needed to provide a more custom look, and often integrate aftermarket items into designs.
In addition to IKEA, I'm also a registered installer for Semihandmade, Scherr's and Swedish Door custom fronts. I specialize in IKEA as well as other Euro style cabinetry. I also enjoy doing custom work, and have built custom cash wraps and reception desks and custom medical units.

Design Work
Proper fit comes from proper measurements. I will stop out and carefully measure for your design. Don't take chances with people unfamiliar with IKEA. It's not worth it and costs more in the end.
